LAST HOOP MAKING CLASS OF THE SEASON!
The first season is coming to an end at the Veggie Art Girl Boutique. We will be closing our doors on Jan. 1st for a few months during the ice and snow and all that and REOPENING IN MAY 2010. But oh yes, we will be bigger and better and more colorful with several NEW ARTISTS already on the books. Exciting stuff! In the meantime, we are offering just ONE MORE hula hoop making class before I depart for a warm, creative winter in Asheville, NC. In response to several requests, I'm taking this class on the road to a new location: The Studio in Laconia, NH. What is The Studio? A giant old mill space, renovated into a beautiful, creative studio where you can find anything from artists to belly dancers to yoga classes. The place is absolutely fantastic and I am excited to be able to showcase a hula hoop making class at such a great place. (If you can't make the class, you should at least check out the joint on Union Ave. (above 'Too Good To Be Threw'). They're on the interwebs at http://www.bonafideart.com/.
Space is not as limited at this location, but there is a signup. If you are interested, please e-mail veggieartgirl@gmail.com. The cost is $15.00 and we're starting the class at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3rd. Come start off 2010 with a fun (and unique!) homemade, fancy schmancy, swirly triwly hula hoop of your very own! (Can't hula hoop you say? I'll betcha you will not only be able to hoop by the time the class is over, but you will be addicted!)
